- SWIMS is an internet of water solution developed as an agnostic platform to cater for all types of IoT devices, system designs, geography or even budget, with its backend connected to in-house IoT hosting platform.
- It offers seamless end-to-end smart water integration that improves non-revenue water management, optimizes repair and replacement of ageing infra, and improves response to weather events such as flooding or pollution through smart water level and water quality measurements.
- SWIMS is unique as its edge/fog-computing feature enables smarter and faster response to surrounding conditions that requires instant decision-making capability and low latency response.
- During water quality measurements for instance, the index calculations are done on-site at the SWIMS gateway itself allowing real time monitoring by local water operators or environmental authorities.
- Real-time water quality data can be accessible via SWIMS’s portal or mobile app instantaneously. In case of river/lake pollution or emergencies, relevant parties are able to make rapid and informed decision making.
